To be fair, it wasn't really in doubt, but yesterday the Manchester City and Ivorian Coast powerhouse Yaya Toure, won the African Footballer of the Year award. It is the third consecutive year that Yaya has won the award, matching that of Samuel Eto'o, who did the same thing almost a decade ago.
