Sepp Blatter, the FIFA President recently came out and said he wasn't impressed with Brazil with half of the stadiums failing to meet the December 31st deadline. Yes the World Cup doesn't kick off until June but the fact that the preparations are behind, even though they had seven years to prepare rather than the usual six most countries have, doesn't point to a very successful competition.
When the young Arsenal winger was taken off in the FA Cup against Tottenham Hotspur all the focus was on his gesture to the traveling fans. Illustrating the scoreline of 2-0 caused such an uproar resulting in the FA just reminding Theo Walcott of his responsibilities. It was not thought his injury was all that serious as he sat smiling on the stretcher.
