FA Cup Preview (Part One)

This weekend sees the kick off, for the top teams at least, the oldest knockout cup competition in sports, the FA Cup. Joining at the 3rd round, the Premiership sides get to join a competition which is already seen numerous rounds, including pre qualifying, with the lower league sides mouths watering at the prospect of traveling to or welcoming Premier League sides and big name players to their homes. This is part one of my two part look at the fixtures involving Premier League sides.

Premier League Predictions (Part 3 of 4)

I missed out on doing this last year but figured I would go ahead and rekindle my Nostradamus type qualities for this season. Over the next four days I will take a look at each Premier League side, look at their positions last season along with how their summer has either strengthened or weakened them for this campaign.

Yesterday I looked at Everton, Leicester, Liverpool, Manchester City and United. Today it’s the turn of Newcastle, Norwich, Southampton, Stoke and Sunderland.

Brek Shea Moves On Loan To Barnsley

The American, Brek Shea, has been taken by Barnsley on a 28 day loan from his parent club Stoke City. With hopes of making the US Men's National team head coach Jurgen Klinsmann's head turn it is essential Shea starts getting game time.
