Facebook Competition

Beware Of The Teacher! is now making a pretty good impact with emails and instant messages from people who have bought the book saying good things. 


However, there is never any danger in getting more publicity for the book. I have done this so far with moving the book into the local community bookstores for sale and of course the book signing in September in Reisterstown, MD. So what else can I do??



Quite a simple thing to do would be to organize a Facebook 'like' competition. Now I know that just because someone clicks a button on a social media page doesn't mean that they will instantly also run out and purchase the book. It does, however, encourage people to advertise your book on their page (For a small prize of course).


Below are the rules for that exact competition which I started yesterday and will run until the end of the month.

Refer a Facebook Friend and Win! It's simple, we would like to increase our presence on Facebook and we need your help.


The 'Beware Of The Teacher!' fan who refers the most friends to "LIKE" this page on Facebook will win a signed copy of 'Beware Of The Teacher!'


Here is how to enter...


1. Figure out which of your FB friends should become Beware Of The Teacher Fans (Hint: ALL OF THEM!)

est they "LIKE" Beware Of The Teacher on Facebook - share our link, tell a friend, post on your wall...however you want to do it

3. Your suggested Fan will need to send a private message to the page as to who referred them (this is an important part - it's the only way we can track referrals)

4. The person who has suggested the most friends who become our fans by midnight August 31, 2012 will win the signed copy of Beware Of The Teacher!

5. Updates will be posted periodically on our fan page

6. The contest runs through August 31st and the winner will be announced the first week of September.
