Well to say that time has gone be quickly would be an understatement and now finally I made it to this morning and the day of my book signing. Heading down to Reisterstown and Constellation Books where the lovely Lauretta has agreed to host my debut book signing.
The signing was scheduled to start at three in the afternoon so around about 1pm I headed off down the road armed with extra books (just in case) and wearing my promotional T-shirt.
(Left) Starting off, early nerves at the book signing. However I am liking the set up with the table and comfortable chair. I have extra pens so bring 'em.
(Right) Two of the first kids to come in and buy the book. Hopefully they enjoy as this is what the last few years have been all about, getting to this point.
(Left) She said this was for a child. I have my doubts though as I think she may be my stalker! (I'm joking)
(Right) Meet and greet. The store is really filling up now and things are flowing along quite nicely.
(Left) This is what I was hoping for but not really expecting. This may be a line forming for my signature.
(Right) Owner of the bookstore, Lauretta and little old me. Promotional opportunity and a chance to express my sincere thanks for opening up her store to my book.
(Left) Towards the end of the day and now I have a moment to get up from my chair, put down my pen and come outside for more promotional photos.
