Charlotte Zolotow Award

I found, while reading some of my writers instructional books, came across some really good places to send my books. One of these is to Madison, Wisconsin and for consideration of the Charlotte Zolotow Award.

Charlotte was born in Norfolk, Virginia in 1915 and has written well over 70 books 'for young audiences'. She was an Editor and publisher at Harper & Row, which changed names to Harper & Brothers and is now known as HarperCollins 

This annual award honors her work and is administered by the Cooperative Children's Book Center in Wisconsin. The award is presented to the author of the best picture book text published in the US in the previous year, and appropriate for readers aged 7 and under.
