Best Team In The Land?? That's A Matter Of Opinion.

There will always be fan banter back and forth about whose club is bigger. Fans have their own opinions as to what makes them a big club. Some fans look at domestic trophies won, others look at European cups or Leagues their side have won. Attendances also have to be figured in when thinking about big clubs as big clubs can only be big with big support.
I will look at all these things and award sides points from 10 down to 1 on each category. First up is all top flight games since 1888. There are two categories for this section, most total points and average points per game.

AVERAGE ATTENDANCES:

I could have looked at the average percentage of the stadium filled over the years but I really wasn’t ready to pull out that kind of research. Simply what I did instead was look at the average attendance for the ten sides from the start of the league until the start of WW2. Then I looked at attendances from 1945 until 1985 and finally from 1986 to the present day to get this final table.
