'Beware Of The Teacher' arrives in Boonsboro, MD

As you all know I have been trying hard to get my book, 'Beware Of The Teacher' into the local stores. My goal has been to get into the local bookstores first. That way I can have a relationship with the owners and a presence in the community.

Yesterday I traveled down the road to Boonsboro, Md and to a
bookstore on the main street through Boonsboro called 'Turn The Page'.

As you may know from my previous posts, this particular store opened its doors in 1995 and is located in a beautiful Pre Civil war townhouse. The owner and operator of the business is none other than Bruce Wilder, husband of best selling author Nora Roberts.

Now I didn't actually get to meet Mr Wilder when I arrived at the store on Wednesday just after midday, but did have the pleasure of talking to Diana. It was Diana with whom I had talked with via numerous emails and had invited me down to set up my book.

Diana and I spoke for a while regarding the book and how things would work in the store. I had arrived during her lunch and so I didn't impose too much with getting certain pictures for this site from within the store but I did grab some from the outside of the store.

I also signed a few copies whilst I was there and stayed firm on the selling price for the book, which is $9.95 just as it is on Amazon and a buck cheaper than other outlets.

So if you are in the Boonsboro area and want to pick up a signed copy of the book 'Beware Of The Teacher' then stop by the Turn The Page bookstore, located at 18 N Main Street, Boonsboro MD, just off the square.

Even if you don't purchase my particular book then still stop by, say hi to Diana and have a coffee and munchies while looking through this wonderful historic town.
